Easenet Cat6 Outdoor Pure Copper Cable Price in Kenya

The Easenet Cat6 Outdoor Pure Copper Cable is intended for Ethernet installations requiring an outdoor-suitable cable construction. It is useful for connecting compatible outdoor access points, IP cameras, and network equipment along appropriately protected routes.

The pure-copper conductor specification is important when selecting cabling for permanent installations and compatible PoE equipment. The exact cable grade, sheath material, supplied length, conductor size, and environmental approvals should be checked against the selected roll.

Key Specification

“Outdoor” does not automatically mean direct-burial, aerial self-supporting, or suitable for every exposed environment.

Features and Practical Benefits

Outdoor route suitability: A correctly specified sheath helps protect the cable in the environment for which it is rated.

Copper conductor construction: Useful where electrical resistance and dependable termination matter, particularly for compatible PoE installations.

Ethernet network extension: Connect remote equipment within the permitted channel limits.

Permanent installation flexibility: Cut individual runs to suit the route rather than relying on long patch leads.

Suitable for several applications: Use in properly designed access-point, IP surveillance, and outdoor network installations.

For a different Cat6 construction, compare the Dahua PFM920I-6UN-C, noting that its indoor PVC specification is not a direct outdoor substitute.

How to Install It

1. Confirm the cable specification. Check conductor material, gauge, sheath rating, shielding, and supplied length.
2. Plan the route. Measure distance and identify exposed, buried, or mechanically vulnerable sections.
3. Select suitable protection. Use containment or a different cable where the route requires it.
4. Pull without damage. Avoid crushing, excessive tension, sharp bends, and abrasion.
5. Terminate with compatible components. Match plugs or jacks to the conductor size and construction.
6. Maintain pair twists. Untwist only what is necessary at termination.
7. Protect outdoor connections. Use suitable glands, enclosures, and drip loops.
8. Provide appropriate surge protection and grounding. Follow the connected equipment’s instructions.
9. Test and label every run.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Advantages

• Pure-copper conductor specification.
• Intended for suitable outdoor applications.
• Useful for compatible PoE installations.
• Supports permanent cable routing.

Disadvantages

• Exact environmental ratings need verification.
• Termination and testing require proper tools.
• Copper links remain subject to Ethernet distance limits.
• It is not automatically suitable for pole spans or burial.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

A device connects at only 100Mbps.
Check all four pairs, connectors, and the connected ports.

A PoE device restarts on a long run.
Check voltage loss, cable length, conductor size, and the power source.

Can it be buried directly?
Only when the specific cable is approved for direct burial.
